St. Paul's

Towards the far north end of Gros Morne Park and about 15 minutes from Sally's Cove is St. Paul's. St. Paul's is a fishing village. Most of the fishermen use Old House Rocks and Tickle as home base for their fishing.  Both of these places are located directly on the ocean and are definitely worth the visit.  Just 5 minutes south of St. Paul's is Broom Point.  Broom Point is a naturally restored and preserved fishing site as part of Gros Morne National Park. The guides at the Interpretation Centre there will be glad to accommodate you.

If you'd like to see harbour seals in their natural setting, stay around for a while or take the Seal Island Boat Tour.  Seeing seals have been 100% for all boat tour takers.  As well, there is a good chance that you will see other wild life on your tour.

Just one kilometre south of St. Paul's is a marshland with one of the most renowned marshlands and marshland birds locations in Newfoundland.  Make sure you check it out.

For accommodations, check out what Gros Morne Resort has to offer.  With very high class accommodations, Gros Morne Resort has a variety of services to satisfy all visitors needs. Need a place to stop to eat while you are driving through?  Check out the Restaurant at Gros Morne Resort.
